LeakSift is a desktop app. It does not have an account, and this website does not ask you to sign in.

Files you scan

Folders you choose are read on that computer. LeakSift does not send those files to leaksift.com. Reports and the resume database stay in the app’s local config folder unless you export them yourself.

Optional AI

Local rules only keeps file content on the machine. Free screen and paid confirm send flagged snippets to OpenRouter if you supply an API key. Local model sends flagged snippets only to the base URL you configure. The API key is stored in the operating system keychain, or kept in memory for the session if the keychain is unavailable. It is not written into reports.

This website

leaksift.com is a static download page. It does not run a LeakSift account system. Download buttons link to GitHub release files. The host may keep ordinary server logs for the page request. Contact hello@leaksift.com with privacy questions.
